Rebel Moon Part I debuts on Netflix on December 21st!

Netflix and Zack Snyder recently premiered the universe of Rebel Moon, the director’s latest epic adventure, at CCXP. This marked Snyder’s grand debut at CCXP, where fans were treated to an exclusive glimpse of the film’s first installment, Rebel Moon – Part 1: A Child of Fire. The movie is set to hit Netflix screens on December 21, 2023. The panel for this eagerly anticipated event took CCXP by storm, etching its place in the event’s lore.

The eagerly anticipated panel kicked off with the invasion of the ominous Motherworld. As soldiers ruled the stage, the audience was whisked away to the mesmerizing planets and moons of the Rebel Moon saga, including Veldt and Neu-Wodi. The panel also shed light on the diverse creatures and new heroes awaiting audiences in this cinematic universe.

Zack Snyder, joined by producers Deborah Snyder, Eric Newmann, and Wes Coller, along with the stellar cast featuring Sofia Boutella, Djimon Hounsou, Ed Skrein, Michiel Huisman, Ray Fisher, Charlie Hunnam, Staz Nair, and E. Duffy, received a warm Brazilian welcome. Fans couldn’t contain their enthusiasm as actors engaged with them. Charlie Hunnam proudly displayed his Brazil t-shirt, Ed Skrein made a triumphant entrance alongside Motherworld soldiers, and Staz Nair expressed gratitude in Portuguese, creating memorable moments.

Amidst the galactic excitement, Zack Snyder and the cast shared exclusive details about characters and on-set experiences. Six lucky audience members had the chance to directly question the actors, providing an intimate connection between fans and the cinematic saga. Snyder emphasized the significance of casting, expressing his honor and privilege to work with such a talented ensemble.

The climax of the event was the screening of Rebel Moon – Part 1: A Child of Fire. The movie was a breathtaking visual spectacle, with stunning special effects that left the audience mesmerized. Director Snyder described it as a “love letter to science fiction”, which was met with thunderous applause. But the excitement didn’t end there. A trailer for the second part of the movie, Rebel Moon – Part 2: The Scargiver, was also premiered, further raising expectations. The release date for the second part is set for April 19, 2024 on Netflix.

For CCXP attendees, the adventure extended beyond the screen. During the Expo, fans had the chance to explore the Rebel Moon universe through exclusive immersive experiences. Hyper-realistic replicas, interactions with film creatures, visits to the Providence bar, and the unique opportunity to star in a customized Rebel Moon trailer awaited fans, showcasing cutting-edge technology never seen before in the country.

Rebel Moon – Part 1: A Child of Fire promises an enthralling blend of action and sci-fi adventure, offering audiences a cinematic journey that transcends boundaries. Get ready to witness the rebellion unfold on Netflix starting December 21st! After crash-landing on a distant moon, Kora (Sofia Boutella), a mysterious stranger, integrates into a peaceful settlement of farmers. When tyrannical Regent Balisarius (Fra Fee) discovers the farmers’ unwitting deal with the Bloodaxes (Cleopatra Coleman and Ray Fisher), leaders of a fierce insurgent group hunted by the Motherworld, Kora becomes their only hope. She is tasked with assembling a band of warriors to fight against the impending armies of the Motherworld. Alongside farmer Gunnar (Michiel Huisman), Kora embarks on a journey across different worlds, meeting individuals seeking redemption. The group includes Kai (Charlie Hunnam) – a pilot and gun-for-hire, General Titus (Djimon Hounsou) – a legendary commander, Nemesis (Bae Doona) – a master swordswoman, Tarak (Staz Nair) – a captive with a regal past, and Milius (E.
